The first is the traditional way that includes inviting the author to your institution to get a first hand discussion about four legged soldiers. This talk would need to be in the Los Angeles/San Diego area (or future arrangements to an out of town location) and would include worksheets, teacher resources and a collection of digital photographs that can be used with lessons. Impacting the kids in a school setting, the author will share stories about different dogs who have dedicated their lives to the military. Purchasing the book Four Legged Soldiers also offers additional materials for the classroom.

As the world gets bigger (and a more digital landscape is available) the second talk option for your school includes a scheduled talk with Skype, on Periscope or Google Hangouts. Capable of sharing information around the globe as well as across the country, the author can set a designated time to talk to a classroom about the importance of four legged soldiers and answer questions in real time. Teacher’s resources, worksheets and additional information will be available at the educator’s discretion. The book, Four Legged Soldiers and pictures could also be purchased digitally for the students to read as part of the lesson plan. Do note, the book is different than the free lesson plans and encouraged for purchase to further the discussion — class reprint rights are included in purchase.
